About Me

Hello, my name is Mark Wajda. I have been a classic Buick fan for as long as I can remember. In 2016, I had the opportunity to purchase this gold 1970 Buick Skylark and relive my youth. It is my dream to restore this car back to its original glory. I decided to start by restoring the instrument panel (seeing that I will be looking at that the most while driving it). While restoring the dashboard bezel I decided to replace the original woodgrain inserts which were weathered. After being repeatedly disappointed with all the currently available aftermarket woodgrain insert kits, I decided to produce my own. After two years of designing the inserts, I am happy to say that I have created a kit that I am very proud of and would like to share them with other Buick owners. It is my hope that these authentic reproduction woodgrain insert kits will preserve the originality of the more upscale interiors that Buick put in these cars so that people will be able to continue enjoying these awesome rides for many years to come.
